In yesterday's stormy weather my Mom had double Dr/ specialist visits at the Med Center. It felt like the effort to lower the man through the roof. As we finally stood in the presence of the top Doc, suddenly the things that others had seen as a " mess" and "hopeless" were transformed by a new decree: it is not that bad. Have others looked at your situation - a husband running around, a child in rebellion, your finances rocky- and called it a "hopeless mess"? Maybe you even called it that! See the Specialist. Jesus specializes in everything that concerns you. He looks at your life and sees the bend in the road ahead that will lead you to the large place- still waters, green pastures. All you have to do to get Him is to call.
FATHER: I'm calling Jesus! My destiny is His specialty!
Back to the School of Humility is a well-trodden path along the journey of our dreams coming to pass. We can choose to take it; or we can be forced to take it yet again. The "down" posture of bending our knees in prayer always leads UP. The "down" posture of preferring our brethren and not thinking more highly of ourselves, our opinion, our view than we aught always leads UP and UP.
FATHER: I will choose to go down before You take me down! My humility comes before my honor!
Blessings on your week of bowing from the heart before He raises you on high!
Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in a multitude of counsellors they are stablished. Prov.15:22; How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly. Psalm 1v.1
God has appointed counsel so that your purpose will not be disappointed. Seek godly counsel. Most likely that will not come from the TV talk shows or the Internet. Or your office lunch bunch hashing over current events. If possible, make an appointment with your Pastor's wife one of the Church Elders' wives. Perhaps there is a strong Christian in your field of endeavor who could advise you. It might take some effort to line up the counsel appointed for you. Are you willing? Are you on course to accomplish purpose?
FATHER:I walk in the counsel of the godly and I walk in Your purposes for me!
And it came to pass about ten days after, that the Lord smote Nabal and he died. And when David heard that Nabal was dead...David sent and communed with Abigail to take her to him to wife. And Abigail hasted, and arose, and arose...and became his wife.1Sam.25 v.39-44
Abigail hasted and arose. Great change before her and she hurried towards it.She didn't let worry about what people would think hold her back. (Her husband has only been dead for 10 days.) When Pharoah heard about Joseph and sent for him, it says: Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon. Your change is here; hurry up! But the Word of God goes on to say that Joseph took the time to shave, bathe I presume, and change out of his prison rags. The moments of great transition in the Bible happened very quickly - Moses turning aside to look at the burning bush for example-. Fear of change should not paralyze us. What is the Bible teaching us today? Respond speedily when God moves and don't be afraid: You can't miss it. There was an abduction of a little girl that ended with a police car nearing the parked car of the child and the abductor. Should the policeman fire his weapon? Was the man armed? But lo and behold, the little girl jumped out of the car and ran towards the police man poised to rescue her. Jump out of the car of destiny's abductor! Run into the arms of Jesus - your bright shining Day!
FATHER: Bring the change You want for me!
Blessings on your week of change, change, change in God!
And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the Lord was with him.1 Sam.18v.14;
The pressure is on! Your job, your insurance company, the bank's billing dept, perhaps even your church! Everything is provoking bad behavior; but remember, you are not easily provoked. (1 Cor 13- the LOVE Chapter tells us so). Look, this is a war, but our weapons are not carnal. NOT my razor-sharp tongue, my temper! My weapons are mighty through God. Can you be gracious (full of grace) under fire? Can you be patient (long in spirit) while warring? This is a Holy War.David was entering the greatest battle of his life- just after winning the greatest victory - over the giant Goliath - but yet, he behaved himself wisely. He didn't spike the ball in Saul's face! He didn't"lord" it over Saul's servants. Words of grace and humility - like "Please and thankyou's" were always in David's mouth even though kingly destiny was in his heart.
FATHER: Help me to act right when everything around me is wrong! I'm gonna treat everybody right! (As the old Black Gospel song says...)
Blessed is the man that delighteth greatly in his commandments. Ps.112 v.1b
When was the last time your family heard you laughing wildly in your quiet time as you delighteth greatly in God's commandments? Anyone on the job see you busting out a big ole' thigh-slapping hoorah as you read your Bible during break time? Well, laugh all the way to the bank on these promises for the person who fears God and delights greatly in His Word:
1.Your children will be mighty upon the earth
2. Wealth and riches shall be in your house
3. When things are dark, you will see and know what to do.
4. Wisdom and success in the affairs of life
5.You will not fear bad news; your heart is fixed; trusting in God to see victory over your enemies.
6. You are a giver and God honors you!
If you don't have all this, just start with a little smile as you read, then a giggle - make yourself laugh! Remember, your spirit man is the boss and always wants to choose God's best. Mind and body will obey your spirit if keep at it.
Blessings on your weekend of your mouth filled with laughter! A merry heart doeth good like a medicine!
And she gave birth to her first-born son; and she wrapped Him in cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them at the inn. Luke 2v7; ....go into your inner room and when you have shut the door, pray unto your Father...Matthew 6v.6;
Is there room in your life for your ministry to be born - or for some of you- is there enough room for your ministry to take shape, stretch out and expand? Are the grandkids eating up all your time? Remember that your ministry is paving a way for their spiritual future and perhaps for their future ministry? Is your poor health devouring your time, money and focus? Sickness is all-consuming. Pain makes you an introvert. Your ministry needs leg room- you running after God and running past sickness and debilitating disease. Your youth renewed for the long haul and for the marathon of the Last Days. He healed your body and He told you to "Run On!" Give your ministry a room of its own.
Thus saith the Lord of Hosts. I remember that which Amalek did to Israel...Now, go destroy Amalek and utterly destroy all that they have...Saul took the king of the Amakelites alive... and spared him... and all that was good... and would not utterly destroy them...1 Sam.15v.1-9; Lord, remember me when You come into your kingdom. Luke 23:42
"Remember" is a covenant word. All His promises to keep us, defend us, protect us redeem us are "Yes and Amen" in Christ Jesus. He never forgets. When we "remember Him" in the midst of our busy, charging days, we are divinely re-connected to His Covenant. In our Scripture today God remembered what had been done to his covenant people by their enemies. He chose a covenant son, Saul, Israel's leader, to carry out the Kingdom assignment of vengeance, but Saul forgot to remember and did his own thing. The kingdom did come- in spite of Saul's disobedience- yes, the Kingdom came and it was taken from Saul and given to David. Stubbornly forgetting can cost you your destiny. In our 2nd Scripture today, a heathen criminal accesses the covenant contract for salvation by asking to be remembered: Lord, remember me when You come into your kingdom ." "Today," a dying, bleeding Jesus answered him, "2-day, I remember you and it will be forever."
FATHER: Remember me and today I remember You!
Blessing on you not forgetting. You will never have Alzheimers's - You will have a sound mind all the days of your life. God will not forget you in your old age. You will be sharp, strong and quick all the days of your life.
When the king asked the woman, she related it to him. So the king appointed for her a certain officer, saying, "Restore all that was hers and all the produce of the field from the day that she left the land, even until now." 2nd Kings 8 verse 6; I have come that they might have life, and might have it abundantly. John 10 verse 10b; Now to him who is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think… Ephesians 3 verse 20
Yesterday I had a glorious breakthrough to victory - long-awaited and very much sought after with prayers and tears. I just wanted you to know that when I got to the person with the power to turn my situation around, they asked a question I was not prepared for. Is that all you want? Restoration was what I wanted. Restoration was what I was believing for. Restoration was what I had been speaking. But there on the table before me was exceeding abundantly more. Lord, could I get more than what I have been asking You for? What, what what should I say? I had not studied the options for abundantly more. Listen to Lee and learn from her mistakes. Get it all. Get over into the more abundant field. Beyond your imagination and beyond restoration! Mind-blowing increase is your portion today: believe and prepare not!
Love you guys,
Plan to come and bring friends June 28 to RU CALLED 2? with our guest speaker, Pastor Mary Jean Pidgeon. I am already so excited about this meeting. RU CALLED 2? prepares you for active ministry through fellowship, nurturing and training with powerful women leaders coming alongside like a Holy Spirit tutor. Get close and get ready!
There is a lad here, which hath 5 barley loaves and 2 small fishes: but what are they among so many? John 6, verse 9
Jesus took the loaves. He didn't say," This poor lad only has 5 loaves, we shouldn't take his." Wasn't there a rich person
who maybe owned a bakery? Then the rich person would have been the instrument for the miracle and not the poor lad! But Jesus' thoughts were higher!
And Jesus took the loaves, and when he had given thanks , he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down ; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would. When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost .v.11-12
The Lord is impressing us today with the value of the small, of the tiny and the marginal! . Sadly, it is a poverty spirit that holds back the small, holds back the tiny and the marginal from the fear of losing too much! When the little that we have is given fully over to God, miraculous multiplication is possible.
Father: (You can have my lunch money !) Take my 5 barley loaves and my two small fishes into your miracle -working hands today!
love you guys , - See you tomorrow for our monthly meeting - I can't wait and hope to see you there!
Lee Andrews Blessings on your weekend of sowing for miracles !
And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of my old age… Ruth 4 verse 15
In our scripture today, these words were spoken over a baby. To nourish means: to promote the growth of, to feed, to cherish or sustain. As we read we understand that the baby will perhaps accomplish these things when it reaches adulthood.. But I also sense the Lord saying that he has put something in the seed that will one day feed us! The seed in your life could be a coworker who is a baby Christian. The seed could be a project or a ministry still in the cradle. How could something so small ever sustain you or promote your growth? The Bible says: A dream (that once was a seed) fulfilled is (TALL) tree of life!
FATHER: By faith I feed on the nourishment of the seeds planted in my life.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise, give thanks to him… Psalm 100 verse 4;
When was the last time you wrote a thank-you note? Dodie Osteen would write 80 -100 a day. Thanksgiving creates an entrance:. It brings us closer to God. In our 1st meeting of RU Called 2?, (mentoring women called to ministry), I handed out thank-you cards to each of the ladies in attendance. You will never bring your vision to pass without the help of others and only God can repay them for their service. But learning to thank by the spirit is one of the greatest virtues a ministry leader can have. So get out those cards, get that pen, get those stamps! Even if you just write one thank-you note today , you'll gain entrance to a little closer place to God.
Father: Thank you, Lord!
Lee Andrews - hope to see you this Saturday morning at my next meeting- the last one at the Freedom Center location
Shall I go to battle?....And the Lord said, Go up against him.; Shall I yet again go out to battle... or shall I cease? And the Lord said, Go up, for tomorrow I will deliver them into thine hand. Judges 20 v.19-28
The children of Israel inquired of the Lord should they engage in battle. Have you ever done that? Lord, Do I take on this fight? But after He answered, Go for it, you landed on your face - sucker-punched! Wait a minute here! What happened? The response of the children of Israel in their defeat was to weep before the Lord until evening, ask his counsel again and to fast. I love God's answer after my defeat and my tears :go up against him! He did not sugarcoat it for me and pat me on my little sad head. I remember a time at the old Lakewood when I had missed giving a word I knew was from the Lord. I just chickened out. The very next evening I had an unusual opportunity to speak to Pastor Osteen face-to-face and I told him the word I had failed to give. You know what he said to me? He said, "You should have given that word." Without a smile on his face, without sugarcoating it , without patting me on my little sad head! Have you taken a hit? Or simply missed it? Go up against that fear; Go up against him !
FATHER: AT YOUR WORD TODAY I RISE TO FIGHT AGAIN!
Blessings on your week of victory! Join me this Saturday for my regular meeting - the last one at the Freedom Center location!
In the beginning was the Word... John 1v.1; And Sarah laughed to herself, saying, after I have become old, so I have pleasure…? Genesis 18 verse 12; And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. John 1 verse 14
The Bible says that to as many as received him , to them he gave the power (or the right) to become. We need to receive the fabulous God has for the month of May. But the toughness of the previous month might require a dynamite blast to remove unbelief from our hearts. The power for you to receive faith for a fabulous May has already been given. Of course we know it all starts with the Word. the wonderful Word of God that lays out His Promises in rich fullness that is also custom- fitted to each of our individual destinies, dreams , and giftings. The power to become more than you are has been given !the very rights to more has been given! (John 1v.12) I'm sensing some will see this fully manifest in 30 days : but many of you will walk in it this month. Amazing divine reversals, breathtaking breakthroughs ,justice at last, long awaited hard-fought answers to prayer and fun! The WORD dwelling in your car, your house, your flesh. The Word becoming flesh and you beholding His glory!
Love you guys - I am believing with you,
your sister in Christ,
LEE'S WORD FOR TODAY 1/6/17
SEPARATE FROM PAST BAGGAGE, DIVORCE OLD SIN, MARRY NEW FUTURE IN CHRIST!
Lee's Word for Today 1/6/17
from past baggage
NEW FUTURE IN CHRIST!
And Lot also, which went with Abraham, had flocks and herds and tents. And the land was not able to bear them, for their substance was great...And Abraham said,
"Lot, separate thyself, I pray thee, from me." Genesis 13v.5; ...forgetting what lies behind, straining for what lies ahead. Phil.3v.13
You can't take it with you. "It" means your (unfruitful) way of thinking, your old " it ain't working" way of working. Abraham's nephew was a dear relative, they had so much in common, so many sweet or tough memories shared. How long before we get God saying, "Separate from your old way. There is a new way."
As always with God, you must obey the first step (separate, leave the baggage, drop it,) before the land under your foot's path for the 2nd step appears.
And the Lord said unto to Abraham AFTER that Lot was separated from him:
Lift up now thine eyes from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward. For all the land that thou seetst, to thee will I give it...v.14-17
FATHER: Show me Your new way today! I PRESS TOWARD THE PRIZE!
Love you guys more than you know,
Will you keep silent at this time, Queen Esther? Now that you have prevailed before the King and your petition for deliverance for you and your nation from the evil Haman Hillary, will you decree, reign and use your authority? Not many days hence, about 30, the inauguration of the President God chose and we died for (died to pizza and blueberry pancakes, died to distractions to cry out, some died to fear of voting Republican for the 1st time!)) will be inaugurated.
Though the media is attempting to spread dishonor and rebellion, your intercession for FULL MORDECAI HONOR will crown the event and will also REAP HONOR for you. The honor you intercede for in these 30 days to January 21 is the degree of honor that will (or won't) come to you in the New Year. God is teaching us to reign in this extraordinary season, this amazing Last Days Age. Can you honor a husband if God gave you one, a boss, a mother-in-law, can you honor the Office of the President or the Plan of God? Skimping on honor at this time, will skimp on the Glory of God!
When God's choice is fully honored, - as Mordecai was - God's reward is FULLY given! God gave the people of the nation light ( a new dawn of hope) and gladness and joy and honor. The enemies of the Kingdom were destroyed. Esther 8v.16 Victory is indeed sweet!
....And the king said to Haman/Hillary, what shall be done to the man whom the king delights to honor?...Haman answered... Let royal apparel be brought which the king has worn(NOTE: THE ANOINTING)
And the horse which the king has ridden
(NOTE: same as David's instructions for Solomon's inaugurations for David's mule to be ridden)and a royal crown be set upon his head.
Let the apparel and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king's most noble princes. Let him array the man (NOTE: divine order- Mordecai was not putting king's robe on himself- but nobility and established order robing him) whom the king delights to honor and conduct him on horseback through the open square of the city(NOTE: We need to pray for the city- the sea of people to OPEN to Trump and not resist him whom Our king has appointed.)Esther 6v.6-9
The King's instructions in Esther 6v.10 Do so to Mordecai the Jew (Make it happen).
Leave out nothing that you have spoken. (Don't mess this up.)
We need a full Mordecai inauguration. Esther (the church) has prevailed before the King.We won. We Arise, We Shine for Our light has come!
