Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him...Luke 8 v.38

And a certain ruler questioned him..and Jesus said to thing you still lack, sell all that you possess, distribute it to the poor and you shall have treasure in heaven and come, follow Me. Luke 18 v.18-24

The man who for a long time lived like an animal in a cemetery, naked, tormented by demons 24/7- "snatched and held down, bound with chains and driven by evil spirits" wanted to be with Jesus after he was set free. Everyone in town had seen his shame and his messy past. He didn't want to go hide behind a tombstone, he wanted to be with Him. Wouldn't anybody in their right mind?

Was the rich, young ruler in Luke 18 in his right mind? The Amplified Bible says when Jesus asked this guy to give up his stuff and follow Him, it stressed  him out. (Distressed and very sorrowful). This guy wanted to want to be with Jesus, but he wanted his stuff more. Unlike the madman who let go of the rags and the tomb of his past, the rich man's wealth was a part of him he couldn't release. (Now remember Jesus was rich- supporting a large traveling ministry partly through wealthy donors- like Joanna, wife of Herod's Chief of Staff. If this guy had joined Jesus, he would have had more in the natural, as well as in the Spirit.) His issues were not just about money. His issues were also hidden from public view and masked by pride. I imagine he was known in town as being perfect!

Is there something in you keeping you from being with Him? Vulnerability and being open ( hey the madman's life was "busted wide open" by the entrance of our Mighty-To-Save Saviour!) help us to do all we can to get close and to be with Him!

Father: We draw near!

Love always,

For the Lord thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountain and depths that spring out of valleys and hills. Deut.8 v.7

Have you found your church yet? Are you in place? Our church is our Spring- a fountain where water comes up from the depths and also comes down from above as water of the rain of heaven. Store-front, home-church or mega-church: Get in place. I don't remember a time when so many mature Christians could not find their church. Part of the problem is the murky work of spirits of seduction drawing people to a church for the wrong purposes- greed and gain. Miracles were how Jesus drew people.. Today seductive advertising and murky, impure motivation work to make choosing a church like choosing an apartment or a gym. Is it close by? Do they have an early morning service so I can run in, meet no one, and get out quick?

Our Bible reading today was the scripture that helped lead me to my church. I sat crying in the parking lot of a church closer to me that I had heard of. I cried because I knew it was not the place God had for me and I was running out of possibilities that my mind could come up with. On visiting my present church, I was startled when an elder gave my scripture as the offering verse. And as I standing up to leave my seat on the last row with my mom, a man I couldn't see squeezed himself between me and the chairs to bend over and kiss my mom and take her hand- it was the Pastor! How in heavens did he get out of the pulpit and past 1,000 chairs to reach us so fast!

There is a place for you- a Spring!

Father: Lead them to their church and cause them to drink water as rain from heaven!

Thou are to pass over Jordan this day, to go in to possess nations greater and mightier than thyself, cities great and fenced up to heaven. Deut. 9v.1

I was sensing a shift today, even before our Bible reading confirmed it for me. I am sure your faith from all our recent warfare is like mine. Neither you nor I have a problem believing that what lies before us is "fenced up to heaven." We can all-too-easily believe that the Promise is under heavy guard. The opposition we have contended with over various issues has been proof enough. But greater faith is our greatest proof about the unseen. The toughness of our past experience should increase our confidence that the battle is the Lord's and victory comes from Him alone.

There are wonderful things with your name on them that lie behind those fences that seem high as the heaven. But the things that are seen are subject to change and the walls will come down. See it with your eyes of faith. The shift I am sensing is moving us forward by the force of faith. Do you feel it? It is moving you and moving me and drawing us like a magnet towards what seems impossible from where we stand today.  But oh, tomorrow - or soon and very soon, it will be mine to possess.

Blessings on your week ahead!

Love you,

The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forever. Ps.121 v.7

I am praying today for your going out - to work, to the grocery store, by the bank, onto the cleaners, the gas station- and your coming in - safe, not having forgotten anything, not having missed one signal light from the Holy Spirit. GREEN- go!  RED- stop in the name of Jesus! The momentum it takes to carry our daily lives forward is (fast!) becoming a whirlwind. It requires a tremendous force of our will to bring it to a halt and say," I am slowing down. I am pulling aside to rest, think, regroup, wait." Consider the young woman we are all seeing in the news, returning to the US in chains after a fatal error about her going out and coming in. From what I read, she is a believer in Christ Jesus, but she made the same poor decision about her going out and coming in over and over until - as James 1v.15 says- sin was accomplished and brought forth death. Tragically many lives were lost.

Father, I pray today for the path of each reading this. You said  the path of our lives would grow brighter and brighter. I say: brighter today for each one. Father, You said that the blamelessness of the righteous would rectify their paths. (Prov.11v.5- AMP) The Blood of Jesus makes us blameless if we repent, turn and get back on the bright, right path. So I ask for recovery from mistakes and poor decisions ( I am asking for Lee, too!). Cause our choices  about our going out and coming to intersect with lost, dying, sighing humanity in need of a Saviour. So we will come home with more than groceries, more than a tankful of gas or the dry cleaning, because our steps were ordered by Your Pleasure and Your Will for us and everyone we encountered on the way.

God gives daily life meaning that lasts forever! You are in step with the Spirit!

Man doth not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live. Deut.8V.3

I live by the Word of God in certain areas of my life. "If it wasn't for the Lord," I wouldn't have this, or be able to do that. But there are other areas where  I live by a mixture of His word and my fearful trust in the world system. Those are my weak areas that need to be developed and strengthened. Whenever fear is in the mix, the cement of God's Word will not hold you securely. It may be easier for you to live by God's Healing Word than it is for you to live by His Prosperity Word. Your faith works better for certain Promises than others. But we need to grow stronger and live by His Every Word.  Remember Simon saying to Jesus, Master we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing, nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. Luke 5v.5  At His Word that is before me as I face decisions of daily life, will I? Or won't I move forward on His Word of Promise?

May His Word dwell in you richly,

Lee Andrews

O. Lord, don't hold back your tender mercies from me! my only hope is in your love and faithfulness. Ps. 40 v.11 TLB; Don't withhold good from whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it. Prov. 3v.27

I just pulled back a little and withheld a blessing that was certainly in my power to give. I didn't give it! It is so easy for me to justify my sin. But as I read David's cry this morning, "O Lord, Don't hold back," I realized how dangerous my itty-bitty, sinful holding-back really was. If the smile is in your power to give, give it. If a word of blessing, don't restrain your lips. Give the offering, give the Truth. If you don't hold back what you have to give, He won't hold back what is in His hand for you this week.

Love you so,

Give unto us therefore a possession among the brethren of our father. Num. 27v.1

The daughters of Zelophedad asked, pushed the envelope and changed the rules of inheritance. When land was being distributed according to inheritance, these women were bold enough to say, "Now wait a minute. Our father did right, he died without male heirs and everything that was due him is going to go to somebody else." (We feel that we should be given property along with our father's brothers. Num. 27v.4 (TLB)

Is there something for you that is outside the present rules? Maybe no one has ever worked part-time at your company, but you want to ask! Or do you dream of being a stay-at-home mom but you don't know how to ask your husband? Father, I speak favor to very desire that is born of You in the hearts of everyone reading this. Rules, regulations and policies are changed in your behalf.

Blessings on your weekend of increase!

And there was one Anna, a prophetess,... which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. And she coming in that instant... Luke 2 v.36-38

When parents Mary and Joseph brought 8-day old baby Jesus to the temple to present him to the Lord, Anna was coming in that instant. Perfect timing on both sides caused their paths to cross. Promises were fulfilled on both sides of the road at this strategic intersection for Anna and for the infant Saviour of the world and his human parents.

Can you recognize the ones God has sent into your life? Can you be trusted to arrive on-time at Divine Appointments? Are you willing to "stand-up-in-the-road" of Divine Intersections and do your part- write a check, or smile and point the way, or speak? Are you instant in season?

Father: Prepare us to be divinely prompted by faith through Your Spirit- READY!

I love you and I see you coming in that instant to that place where paths of destiny cross today!

It is better to have self-control than to control an army. Prov. 16v.32

When I considered buying a phone where I could answer e-mails on-the-go, I winced at the vision that came before my eyes. I saw myself trying to reach into my home computer to extract a hastily-written e-mail from my flesh's piping hot oven. If only I had not pushed the Send button! Gal.v.22 tells us that self-control is a fruit of the Spirit. We hear more about joy and peace, but self-control is just as vital for our successful walk through the flesh's minefield. There are tips that go along with prayer for self-control- speak the word only (I am long in Spirit; I am not easily provoked. 1 Cor 13); take a walk around the block; sleep on it. The Greater One is in you. He must increase and you must decrease!

Father: Help me not to gratify my flesh today! ( anymore!)

Why did you beat your donkey those three times, the angel demanded. "I have come to stop you because you are headed to destruction." Num. 22v.32

In the King James version of this passage of the Bible, the angel's words read like this: ...behold I went out to withstand thee, because thy way is perverse before me. The heavenly creature was seen by the donkey carrying the man of God on his journey, but not by the man. When the donkey would balk at running into the angel, the man would whack him. Perverse means " willfully wrong, wicked, wayward, obstinate. It means the same things as "contrary." Romans explains it this way: Because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God...and those who are in the flesh cannot please God. (Ro. 8 v.7-8). If it is hard for you to imagine how someone could be so "perverse and hostile," let me give you a real-life example:

Last night I stopped at a super center just before 9pm on our way back from Mom's pool therapy. I knew it was too late to stop, but I just had to get the pictures from the meeting developed a report about it finished. We had an early Dr's appt the next morning. Anyway, I left Mom in the car against my better judgement. That was my first angel in the way, but I ignored it. When I got to the deserted photo center, I couldn't find my digital picture card. My poor angel was beating my donkey, but I wasn't getting it!  As I dug frantically through my purse, a man was circling around a little too close behind me, making me feel uncomfortable. Another angelic warning.  But I kept digging and held my bag a little tighter. The angel was still trying talk to me- Go, Lee, Get out of here now. Then when I finally gave up looking for one card and tried to put in another, I discovered the photo center was actually closed at 9pm. Hmmm...were my eyes opened to my own perverse way?

Father: We repent for being hard-headed and even perverse when our flesh wants its own way. Lead us by the gentle nudge of Your Spirit.  We yield.

Do better than I did!

Love you so,

Lee Andrews

For there is a sound of abundance of rain. 1Kings 18v.41

Yesterday I tried to figure out a new ground sprinkler for the lawn at my new house. Over half the day I tried to crack it.  I took the cardboard instructions guide out of the garbage can. I read the 3  paltry how-to sentences in in English and I even read them Spanish but I still could not figure out how to turn the rings, set the gauge. So I would get my Mom settled in the chair and go back out and try. I'd help Mom eat a little and go back again. The water jet was so narrow I had to move it from one spot on the lawn to another to try to cover the entire area. Timing it for every 25 minutes, I kept going at it as the day went on. Of course, the phone rang or Mom needed extra help and I would forget how long the water has been running.  Sunset came, darkness fell, I came in and there were still patches of  dry and crackly grass that I had missed. But today, today it rained!

Hey, this is the season, we're in. You have tried hard and stood strong with long prayers, hard prayer, tough work and now BOOM! God is bringing the increase! Hold on, I hear the sound of an abundance of rain.

Blessings on your week!

Love you so much,

Moreover let us be full of joy now! Let us exult and triumph in our troubles and rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that pressure and affliction and hardship produce patient and unswerving endurance. And endurance develops maturity of character (approved faith and tried integrity) And character of this sort produces the habit of joy...Rom.5v.3 (AMP)

Does that give you a little jolt? The Bible does not need my agreement. The Gospel has its own power source, its own generator. Even when my spiritual lights are out. Even if I am a little cold or dull, The Bible is hot and right on it. If my mind has been washed more in Channel 11 or 13's word than in This Eternal word, God's truth is not swayed by my wishy-washiness! All this is why we need to read the Bible daily and to keep ourselves in alignment with it. Get in the habit. My correct alignment with the Word will develop the habit of joy in my life. All this momentary affliction on the freeway, on the phone sorting out a billing problem, or at the doctor's trying to talk them into, or out of giving some med or treatment. All of this is producing my patient and unswerving endurance. No swerves in my aim- I won't miss it.  Love goes with this habit of joy. My love walk will be strengthened and perfected as I walk through a mine field of prickly relationships all the way, alllll the waaaay to sweet reconciliations and VICTORY!

But there were two men who had remained in the camp. And the Spirit rested upon them (now they were among those who had been registered but had not gone out into the tent) and they prophesied in the camp. Num. 11v.26 NAS

Eldad and Medad missed the meeting. They were "registered" as one of the 70 elders God told to Moses to assemble, but for reasons the Bible does not give- they didn't show up. As you read how the Spirit fell on them anyway, you might think their absence was no big deal.  Hey, the same Spirit fell on the 68 men who bothered to respond to the summons. Did Eldad and Medad miss out on anything?

My reading of this passage focuses on what the absence of these men did to the corporate body. They reduced the quality of the assembly and they added wrinkles and ridges to God's purpose. Do you want to be remembered for that? There was even further disturbance from their receiving the Spirit out of order and out of place. But Moses's great remarks quell the immature spirit of Joshua and corral the tattle-tale spirit of the young man who reported on Medad and Eldad. All of that could have been avoided, if these men had simply made the meeting.

Father: Get me to the church on time!

The Lord spake unto Moses...Make two trumpet of silvers...that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly... And when they blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble. And if they blow but with one trumpet, then the princes, which are heads...shall gather themselves unto thee. Num. 10v.1-4

How many times does the trumpet have to to blow for you to drop everything and get to God? His touch of guidance is so light. Do you have a responsive ear like a prince or does God have to call over and over to get you to agree about His urgent matters? We are coming to a day in which we need to hear the trumpet before it sounds. "I dreamt I heard the trumpet blow " or something bristles within us just as the distant trumpeter puts the instrument to his lips.

Father: Prepare me and give me an ear like a prince of God today!

Believing your ear is sharpened!

In this world you may have tribulation, but take courage, I have overcome the world. (John 16 v.33) Let not your heart be my Father's house are many dwelling places...I go to prepare a place for you. (John 14v.1 - 2)

My ministry team and I are busy preparing a Love-Bath for you this Saturday to mark our 7th Anniversary of obeying the call of God to Kingdom service. We are preparing a place for a prepared people to have a rendez-vous with the Hope of This World and the Next! The anointed Levites helping me are at work and I am work, too- devoting myself to the study of the Word for building your boudoir/trysting place. And devoting myself to prayer- for all the decorator details that make Destiny pop before your eyes- "That's me!", I want to hear you say. Some are fasting and sacrificing so that your feast will be extra good. Lagniappe, they say in Cajun dialect? We want each of you to have Benjamin's 5xbigger portion that Joseph served him to open his brother's eyes to his love.

All this is earth's picture of heaven for you. Heaven is a prepared place for a prepared people. As I pray for this week for you, I want you to know there is a waystation just ahead. Believing for energy to endure these all this week and believing to see you OVERCOMING at the Love-Bath Saturday.

Praying and decreeing for you this week : An anointing to unravel knots and undo the work of the evil one. Divine Reversals are your portion!

All that were numbered in the camp of Judah were 186,400, throughout their armies. These shall first set out. Num.2v.9

The army of the tribe of Judah took the lead. Send Judah first for the forward march into the fight for the Promised Land. The Old Testament is a type and shadow that teaches us truth. "Celebrated" is the meaning of the Hebrew name, "Judah." By faith we can put the celebration in the lead as we move out into Destiny's new and fresh paths. Everything smells so fresh. Fear has left the air and we are breathing joy in and  exhaling joy out. The celebration is for the victory to come.

None of this is easy. But through our God we shall do valiantly.

Blessings on your weekend. Plan the party!

Bring all  the tithes (the whole tenth of your income) into the storehouse...and prove Me now by it...And I will rebuke the devourer...and he shall not destroy...Malachi 3v.10-11

Devoured and destroyed are words that pretty much describe the state of our world's economy today. What does the Bible say could have prevented that? Tithing? Your personal choices certainly have an effect on the society in which you live. The holiness you withhold depletes our world of something badly needed. Because the tithe is holy and devoted to the Lord, I believe releasing more of it into circulation corrects crooked things and makes our economy more salty with God's salt. Plus our obedience to tithe increases our righteous authority to police this earth and to pay for the cost of bringing people to a saving knowledge of Jesus. We can tell money where to go and what to do, if we are doing what is right with the funds personally entrusted to us.

This morning I was impressed with the tithe's power to protect us. The tithe qualifies you to have the Devourer rebuked, so your physical and mental health are protected by the Creator of the Universe. The tithe's protection against loss means no weapon formed against you will prosper. Though there is a difference in size between a billionaire's tithe and the tithe of say, a millionaire like you, the power of the protection God promises is the same. Prasie God!  You will be happy, blessed and a land of delight, verse 12 of Malachi says.

Father:  Oh, give me understanding. Help me see the power of the tithe working in the field of my life, my health and finances today.

Remember- the measure of thought and study you give to the Word you hear, is the measure that comes back to you!

Then Jesus beholding him loved him... Mk 10v.21

Have you ever taken one look at someone and decided you didn't like them? Of course, you haven't! But I have, I am sorry to say. Perhaps that person triggers an old painful memory or they resemble Scrooge or they are doing something offensive when you gave them the once-over. But Jesus took one look at the rich young ruler in our Bible verse today and loved him. Jesus knew this same eager-beaver would turn away grieved and walk off in a few more seconds, but the Bible still recorded the Master's great heart-whoosh of love for the guy. The Song of Solomon speaks of a husband's heart being captured by just one glance of his beloved. We can understand love at first sight in those romantic terms, but having love at first sight for our regular old brother or sister may take practice for most of us. Let's work on it today!

I love you guys,

So that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, so we, too, might habitually live and behave in newness of life. Rom. 6 v.4

Behave! I remember hearing that word (usually screamed at me) as a child. For all the good my mother's correction did, I never recall her saying, Behave in newness of life. It was more like "Behave or risk losing your life!" Hebrews tells us that our human parents "disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them" (Heb.12 v.10). That same passage speaks of discipline's momentary sorrow (it is not fun), but it changes you and me.  Our changed, righteous behavior produces peace's fruit. So Mom won't have to yell, and the consequences of bad behavior won't have to kill us. We will have already died to our flesh and to sin.

Father: I will walk in the Spirit today in newness of life!

from past baggage
old sin
And Lot also, which went with Abraham, had flocks and herds and tents. And the land was not able to bear them, for their substance was great...And Abraham said,
"Lot, separate thyself, I pray thee, from me." Genesis 13v.5; ...forgetting what lies behind, straining for what lies ahead. Phil.3v.13
You can't take it with you. "It" means your (unfruitful) way of thinking, your old " it ain't working" way of working. Abraham's nephew was a dear relative, they had so much in common, so many sweet or tough memories shared. How long before we get God saying, "Separate from your old way. There is a new way."
As always with God, you must obey the first step (separate, leave the baggage, drop it,) before the land under your foot's path for the 2nd step appears.
And the Lord said unto to Abraham AFTER that Lot was separated from him:
Lift up now thine eyes from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward. For all the land that thou seetst, to thee will I give it...v.14-17

Will you keep silent at this time, Queen Esther? Now that you have prevailed before the King and your petition for deliverance for you and your nation from the evil Haman Hillary, will you decree, reign and use your authority? Not many days hence, about 30, the inauguration of the President God chose and we died for (died to pizza and blueberry pancakes, died to distractions to cry out, some died to fear of voting Republican for the 1st time!)) will be inaugurated.
Though the media is attempting to spread dishonor and rebellion, your intercession for  FULL MORDECAI HONOR will crown the event and will also REAP HONOR for you. The honor you intercede for in these 30 days to January 21 is the degree of honor that will (or won't) come to you in the New Year. God is teaching us to reign in this extraordinary season, this amazing Last Days Age. Can you honor a husband if God gave you one, a boss, a mother-in-law, can you honor the Office of the President or the Plan of God? Skimping on honor at this time, will skimp on the Glory of God!
When God's choice is  fully honored, - as Mordecai was - God's reward is FULLY given! God gave the people of the nation light ( a new dawn of hope) and gladness and joy and honor. The enemies of the Kingdom were destroyed. Esther 8v.16 Victory is indeed sweet!
....And the king said to Haman/Hillary, what shall be done to the man whom the king delights to honor?...Haman answered... Let royal apparel be brought which the king has worn (NOTE: THE ANOINTING)
And the horse which the king has ridden
(NOTE: same as David's instructions for Solomon's inaugurations for David's mule to be ridden) and a royal crown be set upon his head.
Let the apparel and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king's most noble princes. Let him array the man (NOTE: divine order- Mordecai was not putting king's robe on himself- but nobility and established order robing him) whom the king delights to honor and conduct him on horseback through the open square of the city (NOTE: We need to pray for the city- the sea of people to OPEN to Trump and not resist him whom Our king has appointed.)Esther 6v.6-9
The King's instructions in Esther 6v.10
Do so to Mordecai the Jew (Make it happen).
Leave out nothing that you have spoken. (Don't mess this up.)
We need a full Mordecai inauguration. Esther (the church) has prevailed before the King.We won. We Arise, We Shine for Our light has come!
