And this day shall be unto you a memorial and you shall keep it a feast to the Lord... Ex. 12v.14

Who doesn't love a party? I have released the Word for 2011, ("Satisfying Requirements") on this web-site and reading it will enlarge today's word to help you see the Big Picture and to understand where you fit. Against a back-drop of restoration and confrontations between Light and Dark, this Year of 2011 will perfect the Party in the House of the Lord. The power and pleasure of our own company's company will magnificently increase. Why?  Well, hey, it is the Lord's doing and it is marvelous in our sight! But another reason is so that the world will press its nose against our glass windows, look longingly, and yearn to come in and join us! Your hard job is to mark the day, to commemorate the moment with food and fellowship, and with pauses in our schedule that acknowledge His great work in our lives. We are called to underline the significance of landmark-victories the Lord will give this year. The world (and the devil) need to see us do it.

When Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the donkey, the celebration moved the city, according to Matt. 21 v.10. Some loosening may be required on your part, just as Jesus had to send Word and sent-servants to get the donkey he needed for His triumphal entrance. Is your schedule so tight you don't have time to be a symbol for Kingdom Virtue Now? The world is always looking for an excuse for a party. Our parties speak prophetically about the Marriage Supper of the Lamb Party that is our future- and should be in theirs. Let your light shine, with a sparkle inviting the world into Father's House!

Father: Anoint me with zeal to fight and party like the Light of the World!

And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, by stretching forth thine hand to heal: and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child, Jesus. Acts 4 v.29-30

"Behold their threatenings" was the word I heard for you this morning. A threat is a declaration. (The verse we are reading this morning is also a declaration! Hallelujah!) A threat is a declaration that harm or injury will be inflicted in retaliation for something. Satan is always trying to strike back or retaliate because of the death-defeating, devil-defeating blow the Cross of the Lord Jesus Christ gave him. His bully-pulpit draws a crowd of the fearful. Even we, when we are weak, can be tempted to stop and listen to his threats. That is another reason we should be drawn to the assembly of the saints, to the gathering of ourselves together in church. Reading this wonderful chapter of the Book of Acts will reveal that one smart response to persecution is having a company of like-faith believers to stand with. Need a lawyer? Need a policeman? Need a bodyguard? Our Advocate, Our Shield and Our Great Defender has a Tower where we are safe and we can boldly declare and decree against the devil's trash-talk. We are not hiding from the devil in God's Tower. It is our base of operations for work to win this world through the power of His Spirit.

Father: Behold their threatenings against your people. We say: Stretch forth Thy hand to perform signs and wonders to win the lost!

By your standard of measure, it will be measured to you. Matt. 7v.2

In caring for my elderly mother I discover new ways to help her eat, drink, move and connect to life. The Holy Spirit helps her and helps me. One of her favorite new ways is to drink out of a tiny medicine cup. When I can't get her to drink out of a regular-sized cup, she will almost always happily swill down endless (or so it seems) draughts of medicine cups full of green tea or water. If you try to switch the cup-size in mid-stream, she will stop until you return to Thumblelina's giant-size. Sounds cute, doesn't it? Try it in the middle of the night or how about early Sunday morning when you're scrambling to get to church! When that happens, the story is no longer about measuring my mother's ability to drink enough to live. It is about measuring my patience. God is not counting the cups, but He is counting on my attitude to be better than the last time I stood grumbling and pouring green tea into Thumblelina's swimming pool!

Recently, my mother has returned to picking up the bottle and drinking from it freely. His grace to help me hydrate her with thimbles has once again opened flood-gates of life. We are glad and grateful.

Father: For those reading this who are in an IMPOSSIBLE place- GRACE to get over to the other side. Oh, that they would hear Jesus at this moment say, "Let's go over to the other side."

Jesus asked his disciples, saying "Whom do men say that I the Son of Man am? And they said, "Some say thou art John the Baptist; some, Elias; and others Jeremias, or one of the prophets." He saith unto them, "But whom say ye that I am? Matt.16 v.13-15

Who do you say your friends are? Knowing our friends by the Spirit is part of the purpose of friendship. To be close enough to a person to see their faults, but yet choosing to love them up rather than tear them down is a high, holy and spiritual work. The Greek word describing the love between friends, "phileo," is actually considered lower than the totally non-conditional agape love. So you could just love your friends for the joyful fun of being with them and sharing things you both enjoy- even church life. Those are legal limits for even Christian friendship. Faith, however, removes limits and makes anything it embraces limitless. Friends by faith are the real faithful friends. Calling me not as I am, but as I should ( and will someday) be!

Father: I say my friends are the best!

Now therefore fear ye not, I will nourish you. Gen. 50 v.21

To "nourish" means to promote growth and to feed. Some of us dream of feeding multitudes, but often our training ground is taking the opportunity to feed one. (And our training ground of faith for the supply to feed many is the in arena of tithing today from what we have in our hand now.)

We are all very busy and we all feel the intensification of the hour. Pressure threatens to squeeze out our best life now of nourishing others. In our Bible verse today Joseph is speaking to his frightened brothers after the death of their father. The brothers thought surely Joseph would cut them loose and let them starve to death in the Egypt he ruled.

If you are not pouring out to someone, you are making your own life too small to grow. As children of God and as His life-givers, we were made to help others grow. The fight for life is the fight to give it away. The return to you comes in a tsunami-sized blessing that will lift Jesus and you!

Father: Send me the ones I will nourish!

Love you so,

Buy truth and do not sell it; Get wisdom and instruction and understanding. Prov. 23v.23

Whatever you have to do to get peace, do it. Resolve the issue, repent, be the first to reconcile. Is it in your power to do whatever it takes for peace? Don't wait until tomorrow or until you see them the next time, do it now. Go on and write the check for the price of peace and go take it to them. Buy peace with your obedience.

Guarding your own time is another way to pay the price for much-needed peace. Don't answer the phone. Don't open the e-mails (except this one of course!). Don't be so quick to grab the paper or a magazine: grab your snack-size Bible instead! Buy a worship CD that brings you into the presence of God. What is that worth to you?

Once you do get a moment to sit down and breathe, stop saying that you are overwhelmed. It is like confessing you are cursed! One Bible teacher I trust explained the darkness in the root meaning of "overwhelm." You are overcoming. You are more than a conqueror through the PEACE-PAID-IN-FULL Blood of Jesus Christ. His Victory has paid the price for our peace today and forever!

Peace, I leave with you: My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. John 14v.27

And the one on whom seed was sown in the rocky places, this is the man who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no firm root in himself, but is temporary, and when affliction or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he falls away. Matt.13 v.20-21

Immediately, immediately. Immediately "this man" in our Bible verse hears and receives the word with joyful excitement. Then later the man "immediately" rejects that same word he kept telling everyone was so "awesome, awesome!" What happened in between the two "immediatelys"? How long was it? How long did he endure from hearing the Promise to giving up all hope of ever obtaining it?  Every Word of God has the power to become flesh and to dwell with us, becoming a permanent and firmly established part of our lives. His Promises are meant to become our permanent home address, but we may be tempted to move off when the rains and storm winds hit. The reason "temporary" is so rocky, inconstant and unstable is because endurance irons out the rough places. Just stand your ground and stay rooted. Let the Word work. Let it grow while you go to bed and wake up over and over and over and over again in faith!

Father: We will not be moved off Your Word!

Joseph, being seventeen years old...dreamed a dream and he told it his brethren...And he dreamed yet another dream...and he told it to his father and to his brethren...and his brethren envied him;but his father observed his saying. Gen. 37 v.2-11

Is there a dream in your teenager's heart? Or let me put it a better way: There is a dream in your teenager's heart. Do you know what it is? Are you able to help her or him find it and bring it forth? Our parents are meant to be our first prophets, speaking and shaping the world of our future with their words. You may have not have known to do all this when your children were growing up, but it is not too late to speak in prayers and declarations for them - even if it is not possible to speak to them just now. However fragile, however unlikely, there is dream-treasure - gold- inside your son or daughter. Our generation is waiting. Remember how Joseph changed and saved the world around him.

Father: Help parents (or anyone with influence over the life of a young person) to find the dream in their child's heart and to speak life to it!

Believing with you,

Then Jacob said to this household...Put away the strange gods that are among you and be clean, and change your garments...Gen.35v.2

Have you heard from God about your household? You certainly have prayed and you surely have seen things in your family that are not pleasing to God. There is a moment when the Spirit of the Lord would unction you to say to them: Clean it up! We're going forward! Jacob was basically saying, Clean up your act and let's go to church. (Let us arise and go to Bethel Missionary Baptist Church)- v.3

Will they listen? When the anointing is on you to speak to them, they will never forget your words. It will be the power of God unto them for their salvation. Even if they are already " officially" saved, your commanding voice will still save them from confusion or deception or from procrastinating about serving God.

I like what God said back to Jacob after he had roused his household to clean up and get rolling: And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins. Gen.35v.11 Whatever his relatives had been before, God's plan was to transform them into king-makers and to bless them with the health and strength needed for good growth and multiplication.

Father: Anoint us and give us courage to speak the future to our households! For Your glory!

Blessings on your week, I love you

But the fruit of the Holy Spirit (the work which His presence within accomplishes) is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience, (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law that bring a charge. Gal 5v.22-23

An older pastor of two churches outside Houston marveled as to why a very famous minister would always ask him to accompany him on overseas trips. So one day he asked the well-known leader that question. The answer: You're peaceful. Notice he didn't say " you're prophetic, or you're a powerful intercessor for me, or you're smart enough to unravel travel issues. These would be virtues we'd think would give us favor with mighty leaders. But it was the amount of peace the servant carried that made his presence so desirable by the ministry giant.

Father: Fill us with Your peace.

And Issac's servants digged in the valley, and found there a well of spring-water. And the herdsman of Gerar did strive with Issac's herdsmen saying, "The water is ours": and he called the well Esek; because they strove with him. And they digged another well, and strove for that also. And he removed from thence, and digged another well: and for that they strove not: and he said, For now the Lord hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land., Gen 26v.20-22

Strife stands as the temple dog at the door to your Large Place. Paul wrote "a door of effective service has been opened to me, but there are many adversaries." In Ephesians he wrote about a door of utterance needing more prayer to swing open, and set many people free. Our God has broken through for us, but often there is a fight and more contending of the faith before we can establish, possess and occupy the Place of Enlargement. It takes more faith to get the opening big enough for a conquering army to walk through. It takes more faith Glory's full victory to change the name over the door from the devil's to yours!

Father: I pray for strength to take the Large Place for everyone reading this. I say they are not worn out. They overcome strife and enter in, possess and occupy their Promised Land in Jesus' name!

But her brother and her mother said, "Let the girl stay with us a few days, say ten; afterward she may  go."   And he said to them, "Do not delay me, since the Lord has prospered my way....Then they called to Rebekah and said to her, "Will you go with this man?" Gen. 24v. 55-58

Are you lingering at the green light? If God has prospered your way, do not delay! Sometimes He prospers a new way of thinking. Our new transformed mind comes to get us out of our old way of thinking, but then brother (or mother) wants us to pause a little longer. Recently we have heard a deluge of awesome prophetic words at the gateway for 2011. Our Pastors and prophets are sharing visions and dreams for 2011. The Lord is revealing His requirements and we felt ready to change when we first heard them. Go with God. Giving us tastes of the Glory, He has dropped some awesome jewels on us, just as Abraham's servant dropped precious jewels on the young Rebekah. Her engagement to the Master's son was sealed with the gifts. My question to you for today: Will you go with this man?

Put God first and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success. Prov. 3v.6

Tithing, giving the first ten percent of your income to the Lord, is picture of how we can put God first and obtain his royal stamp of approval on our steps to build our finances. To build our daily lives into steps of destiny, we must also put God first - listening and waiting to hear His direction. Then after we hear and obey, we must use our faith to believe the choices we made will lead to the Crown of Success. His will accomplished and Divine Purpose fulfilled!  It sounds so simple when you read it. But these steps are not always easy. The Light from His Word that guides us is often only enough for one step - the next one! Your friends may not see any light at all in the steps you are taking. Sometimes it is just you and God in the dark, holding hands. But when success comes, everyone will see the steps were God-directed.

Father: I lift up those who are alone today as they take a step forward to build according to Your Plan. Shine Your Light and hold their hand tight.

Love you so,

Thous shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be...And she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her. Gen.17 v.15-16

Like Sarah in  both our Bible verse today and in Heb. 11v.11, God is giving you strength to conceive your Kingdom future. His seed- the seed of His Word and the seed of prayer- will bring to birth, bring to birth, bring to birth. The incorruptible seed of His Word will not fail to produce Kingdom growth in your heart of faith. His seed will multiply after its own, regal, heavenly, eternal, divine, awesome pattern. And the cry of life coming out of your newborn's mouth will sound like you, too.

The kings of people that will be born to you could be in your neighborhood, on your job, or on a far-away mission field. Your birth stool could be your place of prayer where your holy influence helps register people to vote or where you volunteer in Children's Church. If you believe, strength will come to endure as you carry this wonderful seed in spite of hard circumstances, depression, discouragement or opposition. Hey there, Sarah!

Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee. Gen. 13v17 That you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and height and depth...Eph.3 v16-19

Jesus Himself was the length and breadth of The Promised Land God invited Abraham to see and walk through. Can you open your heart of faith? Can you open your mind to hold the dimensions of what He has for you this year? Faith has no limits and the love of God is unfailing. The perseverance it takes to come into possession of the promise requires faith working by love. Then we will be restored and "filled up to all the fulness of God." Nothing missing, broken or lacking!

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matt. 5v.1

Feeling poorly? The Bible says you are NOT poor, but that you are a possessor of Heaven. When? Now! Where? On the inside of you! His very present help (ps.46) rises up on the inside of us when poverty of heart or health try to lay hold.

Some of you know that I recently attended my dear mighty aunt's funeral at a denominational church and a wave of joy hit the service as one of the granddaughters sang joy's song and wouldn't stop singing. Had I been anywhere else I would have just jumped up and danced without hesitation.  My excuses:1. I was in a oppressive war over an injustice, 2. I was surrounded by more conservative relatives, 3. I was drowning in heaviness, so at first I just sat and looked at the joy stream with my aunt's casket floating in the middle of it. Very present help was being offered to me. What did I do? I jumped up and joined in the dancing a few pulpit guests and choir members had released themselves to. I am sure my aunt was dancing in heaven and saying, "Why sit there until you die?"

Arise! Help might come at a funeral, or in the middle of the night. I jumped up into His presence and when I sat down I was delivered of heaviness and grief. When the Holy Ghost comes to the funeral, He always raises the dead.

Father: We jump into Your Ever Helpful Arms!

Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men. Matt. 4v.19

Jesus has called every one of us to be something greater than what we are now. He is calling you and me up, up, UP to measure of the stature of His fullness. If we answer His call, we won't be robots without wills or brains. We won't be cookie-cutter copies of each other. The four men He called in today's verse each heard something so personal, so distinctive and so irresistible in His invitation that responding wasn't hard. They responded by making big changes and they did it straightway (v. 20) and immediately (v.22) the Bible says. In verse 25 we read of how other men, multitudes or crowds also followed Jesus. They followed Him because of His "fame" as a healer, preacher and teacher, but Peter, Andrew, James and John followed His call.

Father: I follow you. Make me into what You want me to be.

The Lord does not deliver by sword or by spear; for the battle is the Lord's and He will give you into our hands. 1 Sam. 17v.47 Do not fear or be dismayed...for the battle is not yours but God's. 2 Chron. 20 v.15

Happy New Year! Lift up your heads, Victorious Warriors! The Lord is our shield, our glory and the lifter of our heads. We are  emotionally and mentally ready to face the battle and also fully ready to possess the Promise. Faith is our preparation for overcoming and overturning opposition to God's best. He is also the Finisher, so we can trust Him for a victory that satisfies every requirement. (Including changing us  as we go from glory to glory - in the process - ouch!) What are you requiring of the Word this year -this day-?

Seeing you shining in victory!

And Lot also, which went with Abraham, had flocks and herds and tents. And the land was not able to bear them, for their substance was great...And Abraham said,
"Lot, separate thyself, I pray thee, from me." Genesis 13v.5; ...forgetting what lies behind, straining for what lies ahead. Phil.3v.13
You can't take it with you. "It" means your (unfruitful) way of thinking, your old " it ain't working" way of working. Abraham's nephew was a dear relative, they had so much in common, so many sweet or tough memories shared. How long before we get God saying, "Separate from your old way. There is a new way."
As always with God, you must obey the first step (separate, leave the baggage, drop it,) before the land under your foot's path for the 2nd step appears.
And the Lord said unto to Abraham AFTER that Lot was separated from him:
Lift up now thine eyes from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward. For all the land that thou seetst, to thee will I give it...v.14-17

Will you keep silent at this time, Queen Esther? Now that you have prevailed before the King and your petition for deliverance for you and your nation from the evil Haman Hillary, will you decree, reign and use your authority? Not many days hence, about 30, the inauguration of the President God chose and we died for (died to pizza and blueberry pancakes, died to distractions to cry out, some died to fear of voting Republican for the 1st time!)) will be inaugurated.
Though the media is attempting to spread dishonor and rebellion, your intercession for  FULL MORDECAI HONOR will crown the event and will also REAP HONOR for you. The honor you intercede for in these 30 days to January 21 is the degree of honor that will (or won't) come to you in the New Year. God is teaching us to reign in this extraordinary season, this amazing Last Days Age. Can you honor a husband if God gave you one, a boss, a mother-in-law, can you honor the Office of the President or the Plan of God? Skimping on honor at this time, will skimp on the Glory of God!
When God's choice is  fully honored, - as Mordecai was - God's reward is FULLY given! God gave the people of the nation light ( a new dawn of hope) and gladness and joy and honor. The enemies of the Kingdom were destroyed. Esther 8v.16 Victory is indeed sweet!
....And the king said to Haman/Hillary, what shall be done to the man whom the king delights to honor?...Haman answered... Let royal apparel be brought which the king has worn (NOTE: THE ANOINTING)
And the horse which the king has ridden
(NOTE: same as David's instructions for Solomon's inaugurations for David's mule to be ridden) and a royal crown be set upon his head.
Let the apparel and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king's most noble princes. Let him array the man (NOTE: divine order- Mordecai was not putting king's robe on himself- but nobility and established order robing him) whom the king delights to honor and conduct him on horseback through the open square of the city (NOTE: We need to pray for the city- the sea of people to OPEN to Trump and not resist him whom Our king has appointed.)Esther 6v.6-9
The King's instructions in Esther 6v.10
Do so to Mordecai the Jew (Make it happen).
Leave out nothing that you have spoken. (Don't mess this up.)
We need a full Mordecai inauguration. Esther (the church) has prevailed before the King.We won. We Arise, We Shine for Our light has come!
