And I pray that as you share your faith with others it will grip their lives too, as they see the wealth of good things in you that come from Christ Jesus. Philemon 6, TLB

The God of Restoration is making our faith fruitful as others "see the wealth of good things in us that come from Christ Jesus."  He is restoring "the wealth of good things in us" that had been broken, missing or lacking. This is the season He is making the picture perfect in many areas of our lives. As the valleys come up and the mountains come down, unbelievers can look through your living room window and see what has come from Christ Jesus to deliver, change and lift us.

Restoration is given so that we will be better able to communicate our faith. In the King James version of this same verse of Philemon Paul writes that " the communication of thy faith become effectual." Your sharing will have the hooks and grips to attract the lost to Jesus.

Father: Restore my zeal for the lost. Restore my soul-winning heart to me!

Speak evil of no man. Titus 3 v.2

Years ago in London I attended a weekly Spirit-filled Anglican healing service that drew Christians from many different churches, nationalities and types. One rather strange lady that I knew carried a lot of wisdom answered my question about growing in God with these words: Speak evil of no man. I didn't even know that was a scripture in the Bible. I thought to myself, "Now I know why she hardly ever talks!"

Catherine Marshall wrote about fasting criticism. Not having anything critical to say about anyone or anything. It is usually a short fast. I know people who don't directly say anything bad about a person, but they manage to cast a shadow over someone's reputation with their words.

Can I refrain from sharing my bad opinion about someone? Gossip is another word for pointless, useless talk about my ridiculous vegetarian cousin insisting on bringing her canned pasta salad to Thanksgiving dinner! (A lady at the pool loudly gave us an earful yesterday!)

Father: I will speak evil of no man today!

The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becometh holiness. Titus 2v.4

The Lord put it on my heart to say this to a Christian who had stood with a fellow believer during a great, public trial: You looked holy standing beside her!  Just the holy presence of another believer drew a demarcation line for the Lord's Side. Holiness carries power.

Father: Strengthen Your people today as their holiness says to the world:Who is on the Lord's Side?  Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might!

Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven... Matt. 18v.18

The most powerful time to use your authority as a believer is when you feel your worst. That is the very time the devil will try to bully us into passive silence. Speaking is such a key part to our authority and we have to keep being the voice of God in hard, tight corners. Call it "out", call it "wrong", "unlawful" and "out-of-here" whether it is sickness in your body, rebellion in a family member or unrighteousness in our nation. When you're watching the news on TV, speak out against the lie, bind evil and loose the Spirit of God to move on that situation. It can be done in a half-second flash, before you can throw the remote in the trash and say, "Good Lord, what is this country coming to!" Heaven and earth have ears! The invisible power of your words of authority will change the visible.

And I will rebuke the devourer...Malachi 3v.11

This is the harvest season of the year. Now the yield of both natural and spiritual fruit should be pouring out around you. Your Love Harvest should also be filling the landscape of your life with delights, surprises from the seed you have sown in friendships, family and other relationships. If you don't see any growth, increase your expectation. No matter how tough the work in the field of your Love-Life has been, expect a harvest. Remember the rainbow and God's law of sowing and reaping- seedtime and harvest. It is coming up. To fill your table with loving friends and to protect you with Love's strong guard.

When the daughter of a famous minister was injured in an attack meant for her father, a man from their church was moved to go and sleep outside her hospital room to protect her. He wasn't asked to do it.  Love is a guard around our lives and hearts that we all need. This is time when our cup of Love should be running over. We then tilt the overflow to meet the need in other dry, aching lives.

Father: You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. My cup runneth over!

Be imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. Heb.6v.12

Dodie Osteen is 77 today. She steps ( or runs) into her Year of Divine Double of God. Double anointing for the powerful healing gift divinely placed on her life. Double beauty as God's radiance makes her vibrant and desirable like Sarah! Double compassion for this legendary second-miler!  Double overflow of joy from a disciplined life of putting God and His people ahead of her own comfort or wishes. Double honor poured upon her!

Father: You are no respecter of persons. Strengthen my faith and patience. Make me Dodie's double for the greater works to come! God bless Dodie Osteen!

Fight the good fight of faith...1Tim.6v.12  For three years I never stopped night or day seriously to admonish & advise & exhort you one by one with tears. Acts 20v.31

Never stop. The good fight is the one you win. You prevail over the opposing forces. Today the fights seem to take longer as the devil attempts to wear down the saints. (The Book of Daniels tells us that "wearing down our faith" is one of satan's end-time assignments!) But the persistent, fighting widow in Luke 18 would tell us to "wear out" that devil of an unjust legal system or whatever injustice we are facing. The Amplified Bible says that the judge was actually afraid the little, old widow would come and strangle him! If our faith continues, God will move on our behalf. Don't faint!

Father: Thank you for strength for today and hope for tomorrow. I'll fight on!

With long life I will satisfy him, and show him my salvation. Ps.91v.16

Yesterday a team of doctors told a dear friend and her husband that she had two years to live. She and her husband rejoiced with laughter and raised arms of praise. Why?  Well, two weeks before she had been given two months to live, so two years sounded like a life-time to them. They knew that two more years of believing for long life was a faith-boost for Victory.

How does He daily restore and renew us so that His Promise of long life is our portion? Bless the Lord who:

 DAILY forgives all your iniquities,

heals all your diseases,

redeems your life from destruction,

crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,

satisfies your mouth with good things and renews your youth - your life itself -.

Now you (you reading this!) Bless the Lord, Bless His Holy Name!

Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven & the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee...Jer. 32v.17

Remember your Southern Granny holding a big soda bottle to your mouth as a baby, teaching you to drink and "now say, Ahhh!" Oh, the "Ah" of satisfaction. Jeremiah's "Ah, Lord God" was so much fresh, winsome love and "awe" in it. Amazing for a man surrounded by war and persecution. In Him is daily our delight- that is what Wisdom, our Big Sister, says in Proverbs 8. We drink our fill from the abundance of His house- (Ps. 36) from His river of delights. Then the Oohs and Ahs of special celebrations become our daily life.

Father, I open my mouth wide ( to praise you, to worship you, to say Ooh &Ah) and You fill it!

Joseph recognized them instantly, but pretended he didn't. Gen.43v.7 TLB

If you found your long-lost sister after 12 years, you would most likely recognize her, even if she was dolled up like a Vegas show-girl with make-up, a wig and a big headpiece! Our Bible reading today is talking about a supernatural lack of recognition: Since Joseph was governor of all Egypt, and in charge of the sale of the grain, it was to him that his brothers came and bowed low before him, with their faces to the earth. v.6  Another version says: Joseph knew his brethren, but they did not know him.

When will they see you as you really are?  "They" being your church, your friends or your family. We all have an exalted-self that for a season only God can see. He sees us in our future; fulfilling destiny, the warps and kinks that our buddies know so well having been ironed-out smooth by repentance and wiser choices.

This type of recognition is a part of Restoration- we're in that wonderful season now as God is preserving and preparing His harvest. Think of it as an anti-wrinkle remedy that plumps up the valleys and low places to make a straight, even plain for your feet to walk on and reach God's harvest.

I love you- that is you on that throne, isn't it?

When they walk through the Valley of Weeping, it will become a place of springs where pools of blessing and refreshment collect after rains! Ps.84v.6

Because you have been crowned with "tender mercies" (Ps 103), you are the Queen of Mercy with mercy to give away. When other people walk through their Valley of Weeping, (it is not always just about our pain), the mercy we show will help them change that sorry landscape into a spa of restoration. With their mouths full of victory's sweetness they will say, "I am so glad God brought me here!"

Father of all Mercy: Help me! (Of course they don't deserve it! Did you? Of course, the demand for it comes when you feel like you don't have any to give.) Have mercy today!

...who lives close enough to God to hear what he is saying? Jer. 23 v.18

How close do I live to God? Does He have to scream or let a drop of water fall on my head to get my attention? What I like about this verse is the promise that proximity will bring revelation. God will speak to me, if I draw close. I was living in England when the daughter of missionaries made me so envious of her ability to hear God speak that I was willing to try her counsel: Just sit in your chair, and wait as long as it takes: He'll speak!

I studied the rooftops. I studied the windowsill design. I stared at the wallpaper. I sat and I sat forever. But He did speak. What did He say: He said, I want you to hear My Voice. That is what He is saying to you today. His words are always like apples of gold in settings of silver. His words are fitly spoken (Prov. 25v.11). "Fitly" refers to both timeliness and "red-ripe readiness" of everything He says.

Father: Speak, Lord, for Your servant listens!

I pray God your whole spirit, soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thess. 5v.23

Preserve means to keep from injury, to maintain, to keep from spoiling. It comes from a Latin word that means to guard. What is the Bible telling us this morning? God wants us well and there is power available for a daily, hourly, moment-by-moment maintenance of the well-being of my entire body. Thank God, it is God at work in us, working out our soundness in health to His level of satisfaction. (Which just might be higher than human health practitioners can ask, imagine or think.) Yes, we do our part, but I am glad He is doing His HUGE part. So whether I notice a symptom or I miss it, whether I am "on my game" or momentarily fall on the ice cream wagon, the Zoe-life of God is preserving me for His Glory and for my good.

Father, Keep me!

Oh, how we love Jesus!

And it came to pass, as Gehazi was telling the king how Elisha had restored a dead body to life, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house & for her land. And Gehazi said, My lord, O king, this is the woman, & this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life....So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying,Restore all that was hers & all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now. 2 Ki. 8v.5-6

As the King listened to the account of the miracles of restoration, ( notice how the word "restore" is repeated 3 times in that one verse), he said, "I can do this do, Restore all that is hers!" We are in a season of Restoration, as God is making good, paying back and supernaturally adding to what the cankerworm, palmerworm and locusts devoured.

The word "devour" should also remind us that tithing authorizes God to rebuke the devourer of our lives. If you need to restore tithes you didn't pay, this would be a good season to do it in.  Part of the reason this Shunamite woman received such an accelerated miracle of restoration was her faithful record of righteous giving and living.

Praying for you that this week the kings over your world say: Restore all that is theirs!

Then the Lord awaked as one out of sleep& like a mighty man that shouteth by reason of wine. Ps.78 v.65

Instead of my worries and other desires choking the Word of Promise (Luke 4 v.19), I want to embrace the Word and this Great God - bigger and stronger than life itself. Don't you love it when He moves! Don't you love it when He invades the scene? Our confessions of the word, our prayers and our great faith prepare the scene. We roll out the paper banner that He runs wildly through, like the football team running on to the stadium field at the start of the game. What are you writing on your banner for Him to explode through?

For I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. Phil.4v.11

This is very deep. And very simple and true. In school did you memorize "Now is the winter of our discontent" about the American Revolution? Discontentment is often my driving force, moving me out of a bad or difficult circumstance towards the light. But Paul is not saying "stay buried under a bad situation and just learn to like it." He is saying that my circumstances should not determine if I'm content or not. I agree with the thought, but the reality is a sometimes a tough challenge. Doing what the Word says will take the painful edge off burdensome issues that require a process of time to change. Being content will put some sleep into sleeplessness nights of tossing and turning. Contentment is a medicine and a really sweet companion to have with you during long seasons of waiting for your change to come.

Father, Teach me to be content.

Learning along with you,

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind. 2 Tim v.7

To disguise wrinkles, they would put vaseline on the camera lenses. Smearing it on would blur away the lines and blemishes. Our fears can also smear reality up, making things look worse than they are. Someone failed to greet us at church because they did not see us. Lying symptoms arise in our bodies or in our finances.  Panic or discouragement may try to overwhelm us. But you and I have to unmask fear's disguise. Put some Word on that greasy mess, rub, apply until the Light of Truth shines through.

Father, I will let no man take my overcomer's crown! I fear no evil!

Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. Col.1v.28

Sunday at our church a wonderful prophecy came forth from a holy and faithful man of great age- an usher in the House of the Lord: Put your best foot forward and follow my instructions. He had had many years of practice of putting his best foot forward as an usher and in living a righteous life.

Our best foot is a holy foot, and it is moving toward God's best future for us. It is a hopeful and expectant foot. And if the devil doesn't get out of the way, you'll kick him out of the way. He is under your best foot. He is even under your worst foot. Remember, even when you feel your weakest, you are crushing the back of the devil. Jesus paid for that!

Father, I receive instruction. I receive correction. Warn me and teach me and perfect me in all wisdom!

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Phil. 4v.7.

"10-4," Good Buddy means headquarters has got the battle covered for you. In this old TV show there was only one police officer to fight against the bad guys with only a 2-way radio as his tech support. But somehow his sign-off phrase to headquarters on that 2-way radio carried a blessed assurance that the "stouthearted were plundered and their mighty men could not raise their hands." (Ps. 76v.4)

I don't know what all you are facing this week and what you have to do, but I am hearing a "10-4" over it. Believe it and receive it.

Father, we thank you for going ahead of us and making the crooked places straight enough to yield "furrows & furrows" of a sweet, rich harvest this week. Hallelujah, Jesus!

Fear not, Abram, I am thy Shield, and thy exceeding great reward. Gen. 15v.1; Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. Heb. 10v.35

A reward is "something given in appreciation of praiseworthy conduct"  and it is the word I am hearing for you this morning. Are you running your race in expectation of the reward or prize? You should be. This is a season of rewards. Yesterday a dear friend's husband was honored for 30 years on the job at a major international firm. Another friend celebrated total triumph over a life-threatening attack on her health. Yesterday I also read a mighty minister's new book compiling rewards and life lessons from other women in ministry. Just reading it was one of my rewards!

Rewards are also a form of judgement with other "re-" words like repentance and responsibility weighing into the picture. We are seeing and experiencing the rewarding side of God's judgement in the earth today. I personally find myself repenting at the bank or the cleaners - with tears if that is what it takes- on my way to God's rewards of a clear conscience, peace and a refund!  There is intense accountability today before God and man. Accountability and rewards go together. My spirit says "yippee!"; my flesh sometimes says, "Ouch."

Father, I thank you for my rewards today and one day in heaven!

And Lot also, which went with Abraham, had flocks and herds and tents. And the land was not able to bear them, for their substance was great...And Abraham said,
"Lot, separate thyself, I pray thee, from me." Genesis 13v.5; ...forgetting what lies behind, straining for what lies ahead. Phil.3v.13
You can't take it with you. "It" means your (unfruitful) way of thinking, your old " it ain't working" way of working. Abraham's nephew was a dear relative, they had so much in common, so many sweet or tough memories shared. How long before we get God saying, "Separate from your old way. There is a new way."
As always with God, you must obey the first step (separate, leave the baggage, drop it,) before the land under your foot's path for the 2nd step appears.
And the Lord said unto to Abraham AFTER that Lot was separated from him:
Lift up now thine eyes from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward. For all the land that thou seetst, to thee will I give it...v.14-17

Will you keep silent at this time, Queen Esther? Now that you have prevailed before the King and your petition for deliverance for you and your nation from the evil Haman Hillary, will you decree, reign and use your authority? Not many days hence, about 30, the inauguration of the President God chose and we died for (died to pizza and blueberry pancakes, died to distractions to cry out, some died to fear of voting Republican for the 1st time!)) will be inaugurated.
Though the media is attempting to spread dishonor and rebellion, your intercession for  FULL MORDECAI HONOR will crown the event and will also REAP HONOR for you. The honor you intercede for in these 30 days to January 21 is the degree of honor that will (or won't) come to you in the New Year. God is teaching us to reign in this extraordinary season, this amazing Last Days Age. Can you honor a husband if God gave you one, a boss, a mother-in-law, can you honor the Office of the President or the Plan of God? Skimping on honor at this time, will skimp on the Glory of God!
When God's choice is  fully honored, - as Mordecai was - God's reward is FULLY given! God gave the people of the nation light ( a new dawn of hope) and gladness and joy and honor. The enemies of the Kingdom were destroyed. Esther 8v.16 Victory is indeed sweet!
....And the king said to Haman/Hillary, what shall be done to the man whom the king delights to honor?...Haman answered... Let royal apparel be brought which the king has worn (NOTE: THE ANOINTING)
And the horse which the king has ridden
(NOTE: same as David's instructions for Solomon's inaugurations for David's mule to be ridden) and a royal crown be set upon his head.
Let the apparel and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king's most noble princes. Let him array the man (NOTE: divine order- Mordecai was not putting king's robe on himself- but nobility and established order robing him) whom the king delights to honor and conduct him on horseback through the open square of the city (NOTE: We need to pray for the city- the sea of people to OPEN to Trump and not resist him whom Our king has appointed.)Esther 6v.6-9
The King's instructions in Esther 6v.10
Do so to Mordecai the Jew (Make it happen).
Leave out nothing that you have spoken. (Don't mess this up.)
We need a full Mordecai inauguration. Esther (the church) has prevailed before the King.We won. We Arise, We Shine for Our light has come!
